France Excellence DOST Scholarship 2025 – 2026 | Apply Now
The France Excellence – DOST Scholarship grant is a Successor of the PhilFrance-DOST Fellowship Program. The Application is now open for AY 2025 – 2026.
Aims to provide exceptional Filipino Students the Opportunity to Obtain Higher Education in France every Year. It is a Comprehensive Scholarship Program for Philippine Youth growing research and development sector.
Requirements to apply
Following are the list of Requirements to apply DOST-SEI Scholarship.
- Accomplished DOST Application Form.
- Valid NBI Clearance
- Birth Certificate
- Medical Certificate
- Letter of Endorsement
- If employed at the time of application submission:
- Recommendation form head of agency/department head
- Leave of absence authorization (LOA) while on Scholarship.
Applicant Eligibility
Following are the Eligibility to apply for the France Excellence – DOST Scholarship Program:
- Must be Filipino Citizens residing in the Philippines.
- Must not be more than 50 Years of age at the time of application.
- Graduates or graduating students of a recognized Philippine Higher Education Institution.
- Applicant must be in good physical health, demonstrating excellent academic performance.
- Applicant having completed the admission requirements for graduate studies in the selected French HEI (I.e. Interviews, other Screening Procedures).
Documents Requirements
Here are the list of Documents to apply for the Scholarship program:
- One-page CV Summarizing your:
- Academic Professional and
- Leadership experience.
- Scan of a valid Passport
- Academic essay no longer than 500 words detailing why you wish to study in France, as well as how your experience and degree will benefit the Philippines and Filipino Society.
- Complete official copy of most recent academic transcripts.
- Proof of Financial resources:
- Most recent income Tax Return (Copy)
- Bank Statements and
- Other Documents if required.
Scholarship Benefits

Under Department of Science and Technology – SEI
- Monthly Stipend to cover living Allowance.
- An economy class ticket from Manila to the French city of destination, including a return ticket.
Under Care of the Embassy of France
- Coverage of enrolment fees for master’s programs under the jurisdiction of the Ministry for Higher Education (Diplôme National) up to EUR 3,879 per academic year for master’s or EUR 391 for doctorate programs (frais d’inscription). Other costs distinct from the frais d’inscription (such as frais de formation, purchases of educational resources, pedagogical activity fees, etc.) will be shouldered by the grantee.
- Exemption from the CVEC (Contribution de Vie Étudiante et de Campus / Student and Campus Life Contribution) after obtention of certificate of exemption
- A healthcare package* consisting of social security coverage and supplementary insurance (mutuelle)
- Discounted rates* for cultural activities organized by Campus France
- Exemption from long-stay student visa fees (distinct from TLS Contact processing fee)

- The Deadline of the Scholarship Application is on – April 15, 2025.
How to Apply for The Scholarship Program
Ensure that the files must be uploaded online, No Physical Submissions can be made at the Embassy of France in the Philippines or at the Campus France Philippines Office.
