CHED Scholarship 2024 to 2025

(CHED) – The Commission on Higher Education has announced the CHED Scholarship Application for the Year 2024 to 2025 for eligible Filipinos. Passage of Republic Act #7722 or the Higher Education Act of 1994.

CHED Provides various Scholarship and financial assistance Program to support Filipino Students Pursuing Higher Education. Thee aim to help students who demonstrate academic excellence and Financial Need.

What is CHED Scholarship?

CHED – The Commission on Higher Education is a Government Funded Scholarship Program aimed to support talented students those who Belongs to the Following Groups:

  • Underprivileged and homeless citizens (RA 7279);
  • Persons with Disability (RA 7277); and
  • Solo parents and/or their dependents (RA 8371).

CHED Scholarship Program is now open for all incoming Freshmen who want to pursue Undergraduate Studies in the recognized Programs as given:

  • HEls – Private Higher Education Institutions
  • SUCs – State Universities and Colleges
  • LUCs – Local Universities and Colleges.

CHED Scholarship 2024 Requirements Philippines

To Apply CHED Scholarship You need to follow some requirements as Follows:

  1. He or She Must be a Filipino Citizen.
  2. Must be a Graduating High School Students
  3. GWA – General Weighted Average of at least 96% For Full Merit Scholarship Program
  4. GWA 93% to 95% or to it’s equivalent for Half Merit program
  5. Applicants must belongs to the special group of category such as:
    • Those who are Underprivileged and Homeless Citizens under the Republic Act RA – 7279
    • PWDs – Person with Disability under the RA – 7277.
    • Solo Parents and/or their dependents under RA 8371.
    • and Shall Submit Certificates and/or Identification Card- ID’s issued by the appropriate offices or agencies.
    • He or She must have only one Government Funded Scholarship Program.
    • He or She must enroll in the Courses as mention in the list of CHED Priority Program.

  • True Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Academic Requirements:
    • High School report card for incoming freshmen students eligible for College and Duly certified true copy of Grades for Grade 11 and 1st Semester of Grade 12 for Graduating high school Students
  • Latest copy of Income Tax Return (ITR) of Parents or a Guardian.
  • BIR – Bureau of Internal Revenue
  • Certificate of Indigence either form their Barangay or DSWD
  • Case study report from DSWD
  • Copy of Contract or Proof on income for the children of Overseas Filipino Workers and seafarers
  • ID – Identification Card
    • Special Group
    • Underprivileged or Homeless
    • PWD
    • Solo Parent.
    • Senior Citizen
    • Indigenous People.

Full PESFA Yearly Benefits

Full PESFA Scholars will receive a total of ₱120,000/Yearly, Given as Mention

  • Tuition and other school fees – ₱40,000
  • Stipend – ₱70,000
  • Book and Connectivity allowance of – ₱10,000

Full SSP Yearly Benefits will receive a total of ₱80,000, Given as follows:

  • Tuition and other school fees – FREE;
  • Stipend – ₱70,000;
  • Book & Connectivity allowance – ₱10,000.

Full SSP – Semester Benefits

Full SSP Semester Benefits will receive a total of ₱40,000, Given as follows:

  • Tuition & other school fees – FREE;
  • Stipend – ₱35,000;
  • Book & Connectivity allowance – ₱5,000.

Half SSP – Yearly Benefits
