The Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry Science and Technology Officially Opened the application for the Bangsamoro Assistance for Science Education BASE & BASE-Merit Program for the Year 2024.

Open for all incoming First-Year College Students in the Bangsamoro region to participate in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Courses.

BASE & BASE-MERIT Program is from Bangsamoro Youth which is a lifetime Career Opportunity by proving, Financial Support like Tuition Fees, Book Fees, Clothing Fees, living allowance and Other Financial Support to the Students.

BARMM Scholarship Program Requirements:

Here are the requirements to apply for BARMM Scholarship Program:

• Natural Born Filipino Citizen and a Resident of Barmm,
• Member of the STEM Strand senior High School Graduating class with 85% GWA during the Grade 12 of 1st Semester,
• For NON-STEM Strand Senior High School Graduating Class 90% GWA During the Grade 12 of 1st Semester,
• Not a recipient of other scholarship Programs,
• Good Moral Character and in Good Health,
• Do not have any post-secondary or Undergraduate units,
• Passed the BASE Qualifying Examination,
• Must be enrolled in the BASE S&T Priority Couses.

Scholarship Benefits For BASE:

• The Qualified awardees will receive a monthly cash assistance Amounting to PHP 8,000.00, The Money shall be deposited into the bank account every last week of the month, Starting from 1st month of the 1st semester of the school year,
• The Grantee Shall receive a total amount of Eighty Thousand Pesos (PHP80,000.00) Per year to cover the Following:
  • School Fees – Tuition and other school Fees.
  • Book Allowance – For Prescribed TEXBooks and Essential school supplies to be released as outright grants,
  • Transportation Expenses,
  • Clothing Allownace,
  • Monthly Living Allowance,

Scholarship Benefits for BASE-MERIT Program:

• The Grantees shall be entitled to receive a monthly cash assistance amounting to PHP 20,000.00 The Money shall be deposited into the Grantees Bank Accounts every last week of the month, Starting from the 1st month of the 1st semester of the school year, Each grantee shall receive a total amount of PHP200,000.00 Per year to cover the following:
  • School Fees – Tuition and other school Fees.
  • Book Allowance – For Prescribed TEXBooks and Essential school supplies to be released as outright grants,
  • Transportation Expenses,
  • Clothing Allownace,
  • Monthly Living Allowance,

1. Download the BASE/BASE-Merit Form 2024, fill it out, then scan and convert it into PDF;

3. Print out the converted downloadable forms; and
4. Submit the hard copy of your documents to the nearest MOST Provincial office.
