City Scholarship Program 2024 Requirements

Here are the General Requirements to apply City Scholarship Program:

• Must be a Filipino Citizen,
• He or She is a Permanent resident of Cagayan de Oro city,
• Must be pursuing an undergraduate Degree on a full-time basis,
• He or She must be Graduate of Senior High School,
• Must be Incoming First Year College Student by Start of SY 2024 to 2025,
• Must not enrolled in College,
• Not have an Exceeded Gross Total Family income of PHP300,000/Year,
• He or She must not have a sibling or family member that is currently a city scholar.

City Scholarship Program Types:

Find Two Types of City Scholarship program as follows:

1. 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 and
2. 𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

Academic Scholarship:

The accepted applicants may chose any partner school of choice, and with any course including: board- and medical-related courses:

• (e.g., Nursing,
• Med Tech,
• Pharmacy etc.) depending on the actual ranking of the applicant.

𝗡𝗼𝗻-𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

Here the Applicant may only choose any non-board and non-medical-related Course in school approed by the city Scholarship committee.

Scholarship type will be based on the applicant’s ranking as determined by the scholarships committee.

City Scholarship Document Requirements:

Find the Supporting Document required to apply City Scholarship Program:

• Grades (Grade 12 first semester)
• For ALS graduates, Senior High Certificate of Completion
• Birth Certificate
• Certificate of Residency of Applicant indicating specific address in Cagayan de Oro with length of residence
• Residence map with landmark of home address
• Photo of residence for validation purposes
• COMELEC Registration or Voter’s Certificate of applicant or parents
• Parent’s Proof of Income (choose whichever is applicable)
  • a. If indigent parents
• Barangay Certification indicating source of income of both parents and total family income
  • Or BIR Certificate of Tax Exemption for unemployed parents
  • If employed or self-employed parents, BIR Income Tax Return If applicable/optional:
• Summary of Senior High School Awards and Leadership signed by the School Principal
• PWD ID of the applicant
• 4Ps ID of parents/applicant
• Solo Parent ID
• Certification of Indigenous People Membership
